Is it necessary to use grease and which kind, I googled it and Buzzys Slick Honey comes up or slik kick grease but I take it there isn't a UK supplier for both them greases.
Can I use stendec grease? Cheers ๐Ÿ™‚

Or is it really needed to pay over the odds for a bike specific grease when an alternative would do or mixing non lithium grease with engine oil? Anyone?

Just got some of the Rocking Horse oil from Loco.
Did 1st service and used RSP Ultra Slick (in TFT kits) and they are working fine.

Loco said any good quality suspension grease should be ok.

In just the same way that I wanted suspension oil (as opposed to engine oil) I would want to use suspension grease but guess a non lithium one would work.

I recently got some RC pace grease off fleabay and did my Rebas at the weekend. You don't need much, just a bit round o rings and in the station seal . That pot should see me for many years and cheaper than Billys.

I'm surprised SRAM don't recommend their own Judy Butter.

If you googled it properly you would have found this

POSTED 1 HOUR AGO # REPORT-POST

I did see that but says it would be a special order and I was wanting to get the forks serviced this weekend.
Like scamper says, I'm surprised they don't recommend their own products like the Judy butter, but even that's hard to get hold of... ๐Ÿ˜

Of course you did but then maybe you didn't notice that the link had the 1oz syringe showing as IN STOCK !

How much do you think you're going to need ?

Anyroad the alternatives mentioned above are all suitable.
