I am looking for a new 140mm trail frame to buy in the Summer, the Ibis Mojo is looking very nice and prob top of the list at the moment. However, I also like the Turner 5 spot a lot, am going to try and get a few test runs on them but does anyone have any other option that could be added to the list? I have thought abut a tracer, blur etc My budget will be a max of 1800 and no more, that is already crazy money for me!!

Cheers

I did think of the heckler also but I not terribly keen on the single pivot tbh, obviously there are less pivot s to replace/service but the strain on the shock etc means more to me.

I have the Heckler myself (got a 2009 now and had 2006 before) - NEVER had any issues with pivots/bearings or indeed the shocks either!!

I have replaced some pivot bearings for a mate recently after two years in the frame and it was VERY easy to do - in fact the whole bike is very easy to service/repair.

The money you could save buying the Heckler, will give you money to buy nice new shiny upgraded bits for it too!

So many bikes to consider! Mojo is pretty top end. Could save yourself some cash and still get some very good frames. One of the chumbas, maybe a mythic spitfire. Worth considering a Yeti 575 for that money too, or a Nicolai Heluis AC. The new morewood sukuma looks pretty cool too, not sure when that's out though. I thought about a turner but not sure about the back end, looks a bit weird to me. Have fun test riding!

Morewood Sukuma, Transition Bandit (okay, they're both 10mm out but so what?!). Looking forward to getting our demo bikes.
