presume you mean Pike RC or Pike RCT3?
Assuming you do, the only real difference between the two is that the RCT3 has 2 more fixed settings,ie a trail mode and a 'locked' out mode. Trail mode stiffens the fork slightly, locked out mode stiffens the fork considerably (but not 100% locked out).
You can achieve a similar result on the RC pike, just by turning the low compression dial to whatever amount of compression damping you need, its just not as convenient as using the mode selector on the RCT3.
I will shortly have a 1 year old 160mm pike rct3 in 27.5 flavour available for sale if you are interested. its in perfect working order, no scratches or damage to the stanchions, a few rub marks on the crown, but they're only cosmetic. Its being replaced by a rockshox lyric 170mm.
