I need a new set of brakes, any idea who has the best offer on at the moment? CRC has them for £40 an end.

Got some from Merlin last week,£69.95 without discs,like them a lot.

@jakd - they had the SHIM10 code on again, extra 10% off have you checked/factored that in.

They are soooo much better than my old Formulas.

Excellent.

Think I may take the plunge on these for my Spesh Enduro - the Formula C1's are woeful and have been back twice so far to be re-bled as they were abysmal from the off.

On a good day, my Formula OROs were great..
Shame there were very few good days...

The Deores feel better in every way, and have no trouble stopping me (100KG) from reasonable speed off-road.

I would - they are excellent, can't be beaten for value and even more so at that price.

'Bike discount-de' are £36 for rear £34 for fronts but you'll need to add just under £5 for delivery
