Me and 5 mates are off to Morzine next year.
We're looking to stay somewhere that can offer accommodation, breakfast, evening meal, bike storage etc. and advice on trails (we're after more singletrack riding than the extreme downhill stuff).
Can anyone recommend places to stay?
Many thanks.
MTB Morzine Beds.
If you are after more singletrack style riding, have you considered other options? Rivierabike, Madiera, Finale Ligure?
Cheers Hob nob - we're after catered however.
Sir HC - yep a few of us have been to other places, but I did Morzine this year and some great techy singletrack stuff (can't remember where it all was!!!!). Also drank a few Mutzig at Bar Robinson (and I can remember that strangely!).
check out Zeb and Amie at http://www.chaletmontana.eu/
Pros:
Exceptional VFM
Nice location in Montriond. On the PDS return from Lindarets (links to Switzerland & Chatel). A gentle pootle along the river bank up to the centre of town in 10mins (or along the road).
Montriond has the outstanding bar La Marmotte d'Or.
Zeb and Amie are two of the friendliest and most helpful hosts you could wish for.
I have a flat opposite.
Cons:
You're not in the heart of Morzine town
It's VFM, not super posh
You're a 10 min ride to Supermorzine or Pleney
I have a flat opposite.
Stayed here for a week in July last year.
Stayed catered in Chalet Musardiere with Carl and Sian.
Very reasonable prices, great food and good company.
5 mins walk to centre - 1 min ride to Plenty, 30 secs to Supermorzine.
Would def go with them again ๐

Montriond is beautiful, Zeb and Amie are lovely and well geared up for MTbikers.
Plus there's a cracking pizzeria 'La Rocher' round the corner.

+1 Montana
Also in Montriond, I can recommend Toby and Tamara at http://www.mountainutopia.co.uk/ - they're lovely, the food is exceptional (and veggie / vegan / whatever friendly, if required). We've stayed with them a few times in winter and they're flawless, the only reason we didn't stay there this summer is that they were already booked!
They're also good value and will sort out transfers and discounted passes and all that sort of thing.
I've stayed at Riders Refuge three years running. No complaints.
Stayed with riders refuge before and couldnt fault them but thought I'd give these a go next year and have just booked this today. http://www.mtbmorzinebeds.com/riders-week-morzine-mtb-holiday-accommodation
