Where to ride next weekend?

Due to delayed house move, I've got a spare weekend to go somewhere in the van to ride.  Looking at upto 4ish hours from Cambridge, so something like the Peak, FOD, Lakes or Dales.  I'll be solo on the eeb, ideally looking for some mountain days, but slightly concerned if it's particularly remote, flithy weather or ultra gnarr, but also not looking for a gravel ride.

I've done Ladybower area a fair bit, and would expect it to be busy enough to be found in case of a disaster.  Considering the Borrowdale bash + Whinlatter or one of the routes from the Dales Bike Center.
