Hi all
Where is Crag Quarry In Realation To Lee Quarry? The website says that a linking route between Lee and Crag has been proposed, but is it there yet? Website is not too clear.
Is there a bikeable, easy to find link between the two quarries?
Help before Sunday would be much appreciated.
Al
hi alan, there is a link between the two and a very nice fast downhill link it is, uphill not much fun. which are you planning to go to first crag or lee?

Download a map from www.pmba.org.uk from the where to ride section.
The link's been open for about a year now.
Thanks guys, great help. I'll give it a bash on Sunday.
Half way round the red is a sandstone hard climb followed by a notice board on geological layers and a short way after a small path goes off left. This leads you to the obvious new link trail. After a long uphill slog a right fork can be found which leads you to the Penine bridleway.Follow for 1 km ignoring bridleway off on right to Stacksteads.
Don't expect any signposting!
It is well worth the effort.
After a long uphill slog
the climb must be about 150m, so not quite Pikes Peak...
Cragg Quarry is definitely worth the ride up.
The descent back to Lee Quarry is good too -Try to jump all of the conveniently place slabs.
Thanks again guys
