I'll be in Sweden in a couple of weeks, Boras just outside Gothenburg.

Is it worth taking the bike??

Northamptonshire. It's gash for any good local riding but Woburn's a 40ish minute drive away so it's ok. I've been applying for jobs all over the country so hopefully will get to move somewhere that's a better location for riding!

Waterlooville, Hampshire. Looking at moving to North Yorkshire later this year though.

Do it, plenty of good riding up here.

How long you over for? Borås is 30KM from me, there is most likely some good riding in the area although I've only raced there. Gothenburg is 60KM away and you'd be able to join one the groups that goes out there quite easily.

Ecky - We are actually moving to Grimsargh, we get the keys to our new house on friday, currently living with the mrs parents in Longridge atm.
I think I have ridden with you before (Ian?). I met the group that rode on a thursday night and did a few rides with you at chipping, darwen and rivington. Might have you confused with someone else?

Liverpool - can see the welsh hills from the lounge window, bit too far to ride to though so rely on trains and borrowed cars to get to trails. Plenty of extreme urban commuting to be had though.

Erm....Cheshire. The Northern bit just above Chester. Handy for road rides, and a few local bridleways. Wales a short drive away.
