Godzilla - yeah i lived in Stockton for 10yrs or so, became an honorary Smoggie, but been back in Richmond for last 5 years. Where do you ride, do you stick local or head further afield? I tend to do most of my mtbing over at Guisborough, where most of my biking mates live, but i do a few rides up in Swaledale when i cant be arsed driving over that way. Otherwise im on the roadbike.

For anyone else complaining of the flat and lack of trails, you'll find this place hard to beat.

Ace for road riding, though.

Just north of Leicester, right on the edge of the Montagne di Charnwood.

It's not as shit for riding as you'd think but you have to be quite free with your interpretation of RoW "laws".

Kent, The Garden of England, our bit is where they put the compost heap.

But there's lots of Army Training ground so plenty of riding and the North Downs way kicks off, er North.

Lots of hills, lots of styles, some Forests with Firetrack, Cliff Paths toward the White Cliffs at Dover, plenty of views and always the sea in the back ground, all in all could be worse.
