Woburn Sands 5 minutes ride from Woburn Woods!
Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA. (Near Pittsburgh)
Another in north Yorkshire a couple of miles from Thirsk .
Luxembourg. Great riding both on and offroad here.
Matlock, Derbyshire and Doha - couldn't be more different
Lichfield. About 20m from Cannock Chase.
Very flat but visits to the Chase aside, I have a decent bridleway/cheeky trail lash up ride from the door virtually.
I'll see your Cambridge and raise you Peterborough.
And call with Ipswich.
Hanky - My brother in law just moved to Doha, I take it there's no chance of biking over there?
Dumfries for me.
Brighton, 2 minutes from the South Downs and 10 minutes ride to the SDW. Best bit is a 5 mile off road commute with lots of options up to 25 miles or so.
just beyond Hope - always wanted to use that line11 Derbyshire/Peak District
The Democratic Peoples Republic of Surreyshire (D.P.R.S.) and I'm not far from the Northern Massif!
In a smallish village between Leeds and Wakefield, down the road from Ton.
Congleton Cheshire close to the peaks so plenty of natural trails 😀
Born in Auckland, raised in Derby, UK and for the last 5½ years in Ängelholm, Sweden. Natural single track and quite country roads on my doorstep 8)
Ex Notts lad stranded in Essex. Not actually a bad scene once you've done some digging.
Makes riding the Peaks a real treat.....
A quick wave from the South Wales Valleys... Afan, Brechfa, Cwn Carn, not to mention lots of natural trails from my door, and quiet country roads for those darkside moments, which reminds me, I should really get out more...
Formally of Leeds, now in Göteborg, Sweden.
Brighouse, surrounded by top quality trails.
Garstang, inbetween Preston and Lancaster

Wakefield.
Commiserations. I grew up there.
Now in Hexham, Northumberland.
Blaydon-upon-Tyne (just west of Newcastle/Gateshead). Not nearly as posh as the hyphens might lead you to believe.
Lots of good riding around here (Hexham common, Cheviots, as well as riding straight from the front door), yet strangely very few bikers encountered anywhere other than Chopwell/Thrunton/Kielder. Not that I like busy trails, I'm just surprised.
I live in a flat....
Afan Valley.
The 2.5 mile ride to the trail centre is a bit of a downer; sometimes it just seems too far and I have to use the natural singletrack that starts 500m from my front door instead.
Afan 🙂
Well about 4 miles from Afan, but you get the picture.
have been in the alps for the past 18 month (morzine/les arcs), will be joining the brizzle massiv in 3 weeks time...
Hove actually...

I'm lucky enough to live on the Isle of Man
You and me both then, yessir!
And four months a year in Platsa, Messinia.
Gloucestershire.
Plenty enough for me...
Leicester, not much of note tbh!
Ex Wales, Ex Devon now in the flatness of Hampshire
Longridge, near Preston.
Its pretty good, got a couple of decent rides from the door then more than you can shake a stick at within an hour or so.
ride through my back garden onto Cannock Chase
Laukiz, a small village near Bilbao. Out of the door riding is good fun but there isnt a lot. All the best riding is in the next province which is only an hour or so away.
The Wight Isle. UK mountain-biking's best-kept secret. 8)
Ash Vale, near Guildford/ Aldershot. Straight out of back door onto Ash Ranges and Tunnel Hill, with Swinley down the road.
Royston Vasey. Local trails for local people :D.
Cornish exile, now S Wales valleys.
Too much good riding from the front door to bother driving to Afan / Cwmcarn etc.
The kids do like a trip to Brechfa though...
Formally from Hove actually, now in the middle of the sticks 30km outside of Gothenburg.
Great, great riding
Moved from Manchester to Gothenburg in Sweden 5 months ago.
Twohats, I notice you're also in GB. Don't think I've seen you out though. Do you ride wíth any of the clubs?
Clackmannanshire.
Love it - surrounded by hills 🙂
Waterlooville, Hampshire. Looking at moving to North Yorkshire later this year though.

Was that to me? I race for Mölndals CK, both MTB and CX, can be found with the club on Tuesday nights doing intervals in Änngården.
Both really, I think we both posted at the same time.
I don't race, but out with the happymtb.org rides on Wed nights and weekends.
That's quite a few from Sweden! I'm in Finland atm. Looking to move back to the peak district or Belgium in 3-4 years time.
