A quiet bit of bridleway? Some flat fields?

I did this. And I still hurt. A lot.

Better fun than the Mega.

I star a few times, 2m34s for example!!

Worth a trip over next year if you like that sort of thing. Deadly craic.

It looked like Irish bogs, but it was sunny and dry??

Was gonna do it this year but had to head back over to the UK

Yeah, dry, warm and sunny. It was like some sort of alien world.... not ridden in conditions like that since the Mega in July!

Am back over this weekend so expecting the usual torrential rain to start tomorrow to make my local trail impossible!

handyman... that sounds cool. I'd do XC races if they were like that over here...

bunnyhop, yep we do. You have to have the right sense of humour though. The piss-taking, laughs and bizzarness of it all make the Epic Blast the best MTB event in the world. Prefer it to the Mega Avalanche.

I'd like to say it was a mad weekend of extreme biking, mad nights out, fornication and heavy drinking... but me and my mate were in bed (alone) for 10pm on the sat night hahaha!

few local trails, 30mile loop. 2hr45min end to end, not bad considering I had the hangover from hell from drinking rather large amounts (for me) of scrumpy cider at the local beer festival. I certainly wasn't going to drive anywhere.
