I was close to mashing my XT rear mech this weekend. Might last, might not. Figured I would look to buy a spare.
Nope. Out of stock. Plenty of XTRs for £££££. No SLX, some Deore.
Also seen similar pattern on cassettes.
I knew shimano had problems but i thought they were recovering now?
I didnt do a very big search, not desperate to buy right now. But if i was - is there any stock?

Alternatives for mechs and cassettes? I have never needed to try Sunrace etc so no idea.

Not sure about Shimano stuff, but I'm having the same issues with Sram. Needed a new Force AXS crankset. None to be found anywhere. Could find the odd Rival and a few more very expensive Red but not what I really needed. I did locate one from some guys in Staffordshire, but that was the only one I could find in the UK. I did try Bike24 in Germany, where they had plenty, but they wouldn't export to UK!!!

I snapped up the last SLX rear mech from winstanleys last week but this is only a couple of quid more than I paid. Merlin had a big overstock sale a couple of weeks ago but prices went back up I think.

They’re in stock with Madison, so your local LBS can get one if they don’t already have them.

ok - not all bad then. I just wasn't looking past my old usual suspects.
LBS is probably a very good shout too.

R2-bikes for SLX m7100 rear mech at 41.60 euros p&p 7.50, I added a few more small bargains to my list like rockshox oil and grease so the postage didn't matter as much, it's worth a little search of their site for the bargains, their sp41 gear cable outer rolls are another good find.
