On a fairly long tarmac decent this afternoon I managed to blow the front tyre right off the rim and therefore was riding the rim for maybe 25-50m before stopping. The rim is heavily pitted and there are burrs that will affect the new tube.
What do you reckon?
Is it worth filing down the burrs or should I bin the wheel?
It's only a cheap Decathlon wheel.
