[Closed] Wheel build maths and where to buy spokes

Im building a pr of wheels from DT Swiss rims and hubs.
The rims are XR361 29er 32h assym

The hubs are DTSwiss 350, both IS disc mount, in 100mm and 142mm. They have 32h.

Im going to build 3x for spokes. The DT calculator gives me Front, 294mmL and 296mmR and for the Rear, 295mmL and 294mmR.

Can someone check my maths please? All these spoke lengths are within 2mm of each other. Is it possible i could build with all the same length spokes? Or should i get the different lengths?

I was going to build with DT Champion spokes in 2.0 1.8 size. Can anyone recommend a source for these spokes? Or something comparable? Thanks

Round the 295 up to 296, and order 32 of each size.
You could build it all with one length, but it'll make getting the tension right a bit trickier.
As far as spokes go just go for wherever has what you need cheapest.
I've built with DT, Sapim and ACI over the years, and had no problems.

Cyclebasket are good for ACI spokes.
SJS cycles have a good range of sizes, mostly DT.
Good deals can often be found on eBay for specific sizes.

Watch out for nipple length. I think the last time I used the DT calculator, it based it on 14mm nipples.

I typically build with Sapim so I can't remember if DT nipple length impacts in spoke length. I know there's one brand that does.

I bought from spokes from Ryan for the first time after recommendations on here, cheap, good and quick.

I think Sapim race are the direct equivalent. D-lights are another option. https://www.spokesfromryan.com/product-category/spokes/

Alloy? Best replace them while you're at it.

The DT Squorx nipples are good TBH. I've not had any issues with them, although I build wheels at the low/medium tension scale, as like a bit of flex to my wheels.

Spokes from Ryan were the cheapest place for me; I’ve used them twice now.
