Custom built mtb ones.
Hope pro II with stans 355 rims.
looking into wheelpro.co.uk - anyone got any other recommendations?
Life Cycles in Bolton (mail order as well, obviously). Have 3 sets of MTB wheels from them and they're top quality builds. Just took a set of old XC Pro hubs on Mavic 321s of my wife's bike to put on the Inbred for a few days to run it geared and they're sweet as. Never had to touch them - you won't regret it.
Got the Hope Pro 3 XC3 from roger at Wheelpro and just done Mayhem solo on them. Brilliant light wheels, spin up very quickly (no doubt helped by the Stans rim). They set up tubeless with both Small Block 8's and Nevegals with a track pump with absolutely no problem. Can't praise Roger's service enough either.
What are the hope pro 3s like?
And doesnt look like life cycles do stans 355s.
http://www.justridingalong.com/ seem to offer very good advice even if they make less money out of the sale just want you to have the best wheels and trouble free riding
Another nod for Wheelpro here.
Pro3's are like a slightly lighter Pro2 and with funky looks. Bearings out the box seem to spin forever too, and if you read the blurb are higher quality in some way. Pro3's are the nicest wheel's I have owned inc. King's, Pro2's, XC's.
Are they reliable? been trying to find reviews on google, cant seem to find any..
These seem like quite a bargain...

Wow, yes. Cheers for that.
I may have read the website wrong but doesn't wheelpro.com now just check the wheels over rather than build them to order?
I no longer offer custom wheelbuilding, I only sell Hope Hoops made by Hope Technology. These are standard issue Hope made wheelsets meaning there are no options on colour, spokes and nipples.
