So, I sent my RP23 to TfT to be repair & services, and in the bag of (old) O rings they return is this:

The valve core isn't it?

its the valve inner from the air inlet, same as a tyre valve schrader (or presta, I always confuse them, but thats car type anyway..)

because they will have replaced it with a new one

when he says air inlet he means the valve that you attach the shock pump to - if its not there then youd know about it "!

Playing safe, maybe. My old RS shock had no end of issues holding air and was traced to the valve core seal on the positive chamber.

I whip mine out once in a while and give them a quick lube...

does it list individual items on the invoice ?

when ever ive sent them to fox it comes back with "service kit"

then any special bits they replaced
