Hello,

does anyone know what the lightest hydraulic brakeset about is? I've got a xtr and juicy seven, and am looking for something lighter....

They all claim different things, so it's a hard one to call, most quoted weights are for fronts only, often no fluid.

The Hope X2 Race is well up there, but quoted with their 1.8mm floating rotors which are lighter than most.

Scrub now do a new rotor which will drop more weight, but it's big money, and I'd question longevity.

Avid XX are among the lightest, but are also incredibly powerful (second only to Saint IIRC in Bike Radar's test), I love mine. They're not exactly cheap though.

I thought saints won, formula the one, hope V2 came out the top three in the dry in the bike radar test?
