Hi,
Been looking at the powerplay detonator pedals and the saw the bike hut version, powerplay says magnesium and bikehut aluminium, can't see any difference except for one half the price of another does anybody know ?

Buy the Halfords ones. That bikehut stuff is all good kit, just beware of the brand-snobs!

Do you think they are exactly the same ? I spoke to Fisher who distribute the powerplay about this and they say they are not sure, may have different bearing and other bits ??

they may have i guess but id rather pay half price and if the bearings go buy another pair and not be out of pocket 😉
