Why the longer alloy bit with the indent? I take it the indent goes to the inside? Just curious as looking through ebay for fresh stickers for the 5spot and these show up. As did these:

Just some regular downtube ones, I have a silver 5spot with solid black decals, but would maybe switch to outline style ones. The current ones are pretty scuffed, mostly from car roof carrier clamping.

Those grips are for twist grip shifters I think
