[Closed] What’s happened to my pedal?

Pedal dropped off, luckily only a mile from home. Can’t see what has failed. Anyone care to guess and say if it’s fixable?

Bearing / bush failure leads to the pedal rotating against the nut, which undoes it.

The last time that happened to one of my pedals it was a time atac.
Easy fix, buy Shimano - they’ll last longer than you!
