[Closed] What's happened to my Joplin 4?

Had it for a while now, having been a warranty replacement for a Jop3 that blew its main seals and lubricated my bottom bracket bearings from the inside.

Anyway, the Jop4 has now decided not to return to correct height when released from lowered position. I'm guessing it's an air spring - could this have leaked? Can it be re-pressurised with a shock pump?

Any help appreciated!

Chris

Mine did that also. I let the air out and depressed the lever to get all air out and then repressurised it to 50psi

Send it back and get a Jop5, eventually they will make one that does work well. It will be the Jop999

Thanks Racing Ralph; where is the valve - i'm guessing on the bottom of the damper rod (ie bit that is attached to outer tube by nut)

you need to remove the screw at the bottom and undo the nut that exposes the thread to put your shock pump on I remember rightly
