Thinking about parting with my custom fillet welded fat frame made by Ben Cooper...what's it worth?

853 tubing
18" frame
Full fat (26x4.8) compatible but can run 29/29+/650b+ etc etc
Offset 135/142 rear end.
Paragon interchangeable dropout system...currently rolhoff equipped.
100mm EEB
Low and slack geometry
68Deg HA, 72Deg SA with 485mm fork
27.2 seat post with internal cable routing port
425mm chain stays at shortest point
44mm headtube so fully compatible with bouncy forks if desired.
Happy to inc the On One Fatty carbon fork if required.
Frame is fully wax oiled internally and has been sand blasted and powder clear coated.

Dunno, but how did you get on with the Rohloff?

I'm a rohloff fan...I've got 2! I'd say they were near perfect for fat bike use as you're probably not a weight weeny on fat tyres and the straight chain line removes all the hassle with trying to squeeze things in past the chain stays and tyres.

That being said, I usually ride SS for local trails (2hrs rides) and use the Rohloff for longer days or bike packing.

The SS is just a lovely light & simple set up...the extra heft of the rohloff isn't that much of an issue when bike packing!

Cool, thx. I've got one coming, because just sick of gears grinding in wet mud, but have never actually used one. Looking forward.
