This morning I was riding my 1980s vintage road bike - it's shonky, heavy and the brakes have about as much effect as lightly squeezing two pats of warm butter onto a spinning sheet of teflon. But I just can't get rid of it.

Boardman Team, built up with SLX, Easton and a Fox F120
Giant TranceX, with a 130mm Rockshox coil fork

Would like a stiffer fork on the TranceX and some lighter wheels on the Boardman. But otherwise I think it's a good combo.

Commencal Ramones 2 (black) - As standard other than white Nuke Proof lock-on grips, white e13 Supercharger bashring, white Halo QR skewers, chrome DMR V12s and (as of today) Rock Shox Lyrik Coil U-Turn.

Weighs almost 32lbs, but a lot of fun.

Wouldn't mind a Specialized Pitch Pro, but not this side of London 2012!

Spesh Allez which is feeling a bit smug after visiting a few cols in the Alps last week and a Marin Mount Vision which is feeling beefy after going up and down some other big lumps the hard way.
Owner is shagged.

Those Summer Seasons look like fun. Just how far do they differ from a regular 456? Slacker head angle and ability to run about 30mm longer forks, but anything else?
