Just back from doing the Purple at Mabie, was an ideal ride for the first one in a long time just to legs and lungs working again over it's 14 or so miles, a few spots of rain but nothing big, but now of course the sun has just come out, might pop over to Ae tomorrow and check out the work that's been done there.

Out riding ๐Ÿ™‚

Totally underestimated the weather though. Summer shoes, socks, shorts, base layer, longsleeve jersey and full length lighweight gloves; bloody froze when the rain came down and the wind picked up. Schoolboy error ๐Ÿ™

Amazing session Jedi! Blown away seeing James (and his 5% vision) steaming down the trail on his own and also nailing that large drop so smoothly!!! He was buzzing hard from it in the car on the way back ๐Ÿ™‚

Going to go to the local trails and try and grow the balls to do the tiny drop my son could probably do on his balance bike.

In your head you are thinking in feet. Think smaller

For "Drop" read "Slightly elevated step onto a not-very-steep downslope"

Its part of the Run in Standish woods (haresfield) that starts at the unmarked Longbarrow and goes down to the gravel road. The log drop is right near the bottom and I always go around it* I always go up to Haresfield if I have the dogs in tow and not much time..

There are a couple at the top quarry too ranging from the same to bigger stuff (3 or 4 footers)

*NB I used to go over this, but cant bring myself to do it since going OTB and grazing my Knee - it wasnt even there- it was in Nibley I did it )

**Bent my bars too- how did that happen?

***Went up there yesterday btw. Didnt do it
