2015.
Now where's my coat?
Mine have a serial number embossed on the back of the crown. The first 2 numbers are the year of manufacture.
Thanks eulach
It seems they are the 2007 model
Thanks again
Don't forget that the [s]manufactureres[/s] bike companies release their kit in the year before (e.g. 2014 stuff has been available for a few months now) so if it says 07 on it then likely it's a 2008 model as far as spec goes.
Rc2dh came out later than that didn't they, an I thought the dh ones were 170 model
Yeah they've been reduced to 160
Actually my serial starts 27 which I thought was 2007 ๐
The only reason I wouldn't mind finding out is I'm planning on selling and getting some pikes and would like to know the year of them.
Ignore me - I remembered it all wrong. It has something to do with the first number after the letter (usually a T). An 8 would be 2008 but what happened in 2010 I don't know. That'll teach you to listen to people on the internet. (Sorry)
MTBR says:
Look on the bottom of the fork crown. There will be a series of 12 raised bumps in a circle with a two digit number in the middle. That two digit number will be the model year of the fork. The month of manufacturer will be indicated by the bumps. Simply count the heavier bumps and you have the month, 1-12.
