A cycle club?
I've joined a local cycling group, never been a member of anything like it before.
We have an HQ complete with bike storage, workshop (from donated tools) they hold parties, arrange cycling festivals etc. Rides are organised (mountain and road) and visits are made to Le Tour and other events/places
What would you want from a club? Can you think of any specific events that are held that could inspire us (to rip off)

I'd want a cycle club to stay as far away from me as possible. Couldn't think of anything worse. Cycling is about being on my own.

We've got a climbing club full of them:
A nudist postman, a 70 year old violinist with a mohican, several pyromaniacs and a young lady known by everyone as 'Barking'. As in barking mad.

a) By foot?
b) By bike?
c) With the aid of Llanberris Mountain Rescue?
d) On the railway, using a home made 'Cloggy Buggy', after everyone else has gone home?
