Not Sigma. that's my only advice really. Counting aloud to yourself would be more reliable

just got the 2009 cateye strada from wiggle for £30 with voucher. Arrived next day, fitted realky easily, looks great, small, reasuringly solid. A nice touch is that you just click tbe bottom of the computer to cycle through functions. Big display on a v small and light bit of kit.

Another + 1 for Cateye Micro Cordless proved very reliable over 4 or so years. Never used the Sigma ones but as above a few friends found them pretty unreliable

Sigma...

most reliable brand I've sold in over 20 years. I have always had a Cateye returns bin. Never had a Sigma returns bin. I've only 2 returned wireless units in 3 years.

We now sell only sigma.

The Micro Wireless is a bit bulky compared to the Strada and the Strada starts to rattle on the mount after a few thousand miles apart form that I haven't had any problems with either (4 Strada's, 2 Micro Wireless).

Try the NIteRider models for backlight action. They have big buttons too for gloved hands.
