as the title says,
i have mavic valves but there is not chance of them sealing, there is clear daylight,
show me something and tell me i dont have to use rim strips
are they drilled for schraeder valves ?
try these - work best with an extra (smaller) o-ring added I found
yer schraeder
where did you add the extra o?
just rolled it on to the valve stem
This was on a flow rim - the indent in the rim looked a bit too curved for it to fit right without and the metal base of the valve has a sharpish edge that I didn't want digging into the rim. As the valve base is metal you can tighten down very positvely and get a nice rigid valve stem - some of the rubbery ones flop a bit I think
I've also used mastic bath sealant beofre now with good effect

Yeh ! I'm sure they used to be cheaper - might have got 'em in the flood sale (But have ordered some more anyway)
