I've been running a set of Kenda Small Block 8s on my cx, tubeless using sealant and stand rim strips. After some initial faffage where they leaked air slowly through rides, they settled down enough to work brilliantly - no punctures, and.most.importantly no pinch flats which I'd found a real problem. Unfortunately recently they seem to have started leaking again. the leaks are from very small pinprick holes that I thought had all sealed but they keep opening then sealing again but obviously means losing pressure over time.
So, what tyres have you used with a similar setup that work well? having had zero problems with similar tubeless setups on my mtbs there's no way I'd go back to tubes but I think that sb8s clearly aren't suited to the task.
Using SB8s & Larsen MiMos at the moment. Have had success with Mich Mud2s as well.

I've had great success with all-flavours of Maxxis run tubeless. They take a while to seal completely on Ksyriums, but once on there they're perfect.
Has all your sealant dried up? Might be worth putting some more in there.
Normal mtb SB8's are fine tubeless. I've tried Kenda's, Maxxis, Schwalbe, Panaracer, and all have been fine tubeless with sealant.
No, sealant's still sloshing around in there - you can see it seal the holes as they appear too.
If it's been in there a while might still be worth replacing the sealant. Does seem to get less effective after a while. Guess the higher pressures with CX tyres would make it lose a bit more air before it seals too.

Sorry to but in on thread but having trouble sealing my cyclocross rims up tubeless.They are Mavic Open Pro with schwalbe CX Pro.Used the spoke tape with a Stans rim strip and air is escaping everywhere.Tyres seem a baggy fit though! Any tips?

I noticed exactly the same actually. Again, never had it on any other tyres.
Turner fan - reckon you need to build up the rim bed with more layers of the tape so that the tyres are less baggy.
I love tubeless on my mountain bike but have had no luck on the cross bike. It seems to me that if you want better traction and speed, like you get with tubeless, you have to get into glue sniffing and saving for a year to get a new set of tyres. I would be very happy to learn if this isn't the case...

Kenda innit? Thin sidewalls. They're always going to be porous. Try something other than Kendas. All the early 'which tyre can I ghetto?' advice said avoid teh Kenda.
traildog - when the sb8s held air they were fantastic tubeless. if as people say, it's just a Kenda problem then I'll be very happy.
Aren't Kendas meant to be rubbish for tubeless conversions.

i have mich mud 2 and they are supposed to work fine tubeless from my searches but rim compatability seems to be the biggest concern, e.g too baggy on open pro's so much building up of the rim would be needed.

I'm using Campag Proton rims. Also had success with Bonty Racelites & Open Pros.
The lower pressures I seem to be getting away with are making a big difference - 40psi ish in the south downs.
Go stans 340 for cross tubeless. Works fine with most rubber. A very quick mate used them to top3 in last years London league.

Tried tubeless but at the pressures I'd want to run they burped badly.Saved the pennies and went with tubs this season (should have saved harder and bought dugast's though 😕 )
Halo Aerorage rims with stans rim strips for me. they go up a treat. it's the staying inflated more than a few hours that's a problem with the kendas.
Mine never burp but I run 50-70psi
