i've currently got a 2007 kona caldera fitted with 2009 rs reba race(100mm travel) and iam thinking of changing frame and swapping bits from my current bike and i quite like the breath will these forks be ok or will i need more travel.
They'll be perfect. It rides nicely with 120s too I'm told but my Life was sweet with 100s.
Designed for 100mm. I run my Life with 120mm now and liked it with 90-130mm U Turn too.
I ran my old Life frame with 100's and 130's and it was great with both. Very low down dirty racer with the shorter forks and really good fun on rocky steep stuff with the longer forks.
i used to run mine with 100-130mm Revs.
as sbove.. quite racey with 100mm.
bit more grrrr at 130mm (with sag).

Rode mine with a u-turn 100-130, but generally found I left it at 100.
