Any arty types on here have any idea's? Got about ten of em just lying around in various places in the garage (scruffy git).

I thought this was going to be about C90 audio cassettes. I've got quite a few that are no good to me any more but I can't bear to chuck them out "just in case"!

Split them and keep the spacers, handy for single speeding on the cheap, as for the sprockets themselves, 10 cassettes must be ~2.5kg of steel?
so if you can accumulate another 9975 cassettes you could get £60-80 from a scrap merchant maybe...

I keep the spacers and lockrings for spares and chuck the worn cassette in the metal recycling.

Is this so when they install them on their bikes, the chain slips rendering them without reliable transport?
