HONC is approaching and as a honc virgin I need to know the most important thing. When should I turn up to register?

I know registration starts at 7:30 but if the event starts at 9 should I aim to reg for about 8:30? I want to minimise hanging around / getting cold / wet time if possible!

Ta

get there in plenty time to be ready as per any event - arrive at the last possible minute and discover something like you forgot an end nut off your skewar you wont really have time to get a newun borrowed

id aim to arrive at 8 - check the queues register if quiet - then sort out your kit or if busy - sort out your kit then register

Try and aim for between 7.30 and 8.00.
Get there before 7 and there will be no one there.

Don't make too much noise when you arrive otherwise you'll wake us up as we're having a pre HONC Party the night before at my gaf! There may be some very think heads or slightly still pishted SSers ;-0

There's a food stop around half way where you get excellent cake and can top up water. There are usually some village shops along the way though I've never stopped for them.
