[Closed] What thing for tubeless inflation?

I've managed to get all my tyres up with my track pump until now. Fatbikes have been easiest, however road tubeless is a struggle.

The front went up with a bit of faffing and a luggage strap round the tyre circumference, but the rear just ain't having it. I need mechanical assistance.

So what does STW recommend, either compressor or air blaster thing -wise ?

I made my own out of a 2L coke bottle, a bit of hose and a couple of tubless valves. Works quite effectively! Lots of guides online.

Agree with above, make one for pennies!

I made a Mk II out of an old 1kg fire extinguisher that I found at work, required a bit of basic drilling, but just needed a tubeless valve and some hose.  I can pump that up 150+ psi without fear of it going pop and it has inflated every stubborn tyre I have had 🙂

I bought one of the red things from Merlin cycles for about £40

Works really well, I tried the coke bottle thing but I couldn't get it to work well and was a proper faf.

I reckon for £40 I'd just buy a tubeless inflator.

I couldn't find anything much less than £100, so I (sucessfully) made an Irn Bru bottle inflator for about £5 and 2 valves out of old tubes.
