I've just finished a Jeff Jones-esk polish and cut down of some XTR M960 cranks. I read they need a 102 BCD size chainring and not the regular 104 BCD. Anyone else running XTR's with a single ring? What chainring are you using? I'll be looking for a 34t.

Just waiting for mine to be delivered.
Don't bother with the Blackspire Mono, it's total and utter shite.

cranks look great by the way ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you both. Having only run steel 32t before I'd be interested in how long an aluminium ring would last.

Seconded for the Homebrew components rings - I have three different ones, Middleburn Uno, XTR size, and a standard one. All are wearing very well, some loss of anodising on the teeth, but it's not soft cheese aluminium - unlike the Blackspire mono rings, which are proper sh1te.
