[Closed] what sized front mech for a 456? (i have looked)

i have looked, but the 29.8 seatclamp size, isnt an option with front mechs (that i can see)

what size are you 456 users using please?

is the clamp not too small? (obviously, if its what your using, but have to ask, as im dim)

taken from the on one website :

You’ll need a seatclamp - the seat tube is 29.8mm outside diameter at the top, but clamps labelled 30mm will be fine too. The seat tube butts down to 28.6mm outside at the bottom, for your front mech, and inside the frame takes a 27.2mm seatpost. BB is 68mm shell. Front mech is top pull. Brakes are international standard. Headset is inch and an eighth. All the bits off a standard inbred will fit.

ok, sorry. i knew that was there somewhere, but couldn't find it for the life of me (has been a long evening of building)

Does it really matter I thought all new front mechs came with spacers to fit virtually all frames.

most come with 34.9 - 31.8 spacers, some come with the 28.6 ome don't... my slx double specific one for a start... grrr!

adaptors on CRC for 3.99
