I think I read somewhere that the chainring bolts take a T30 torx wrench rather than the standard T25 normally used for other bike fittings. Can anyone confirm this? I want to avoid rounding out the bolt!
Cheers

its a T30 torx plus.
a standard torx will remove it - they are backwards compatible , but a torx plus will be a tighter fit.

They aren't using those on Cranks now are they? Torx bolts should be banned: They are the devil's work.

Nowt wrong with torx- far superior to hex in many applications.

Torx is the way forward for me , much nicer to use than a nasty cap head Allen key bolt
Or maybe I should say hex to save upsetting people
