I need a firmer spring for my 2007 patriot 66. I cant work out these calculators and dont have a clue what spring i need? I am 16 stone and like it pretty firm.
Any ideas? I need length etc, rate, etc...
what travel and what is the length of your shock?
is just the standard one that came on it
There should be some numbers written on the current spring, something like 550x2.8. If you can tell us these then we can probably figure it out for you.
How much travel is the bike?
Are you sure it is a 2007 Patriot 66? Orange don't list the 66 for 07.
I use the 550 ,the standards 450 ,got mine from TF Tuned , I ride a Patriot66 and are a similar weight ,they asked me what type of riding I did they recommended a 500 for downhill and a 550 for freeride
