[Closed] What roof carrier for carbon boost fork bike?

My current bike carrier is great, but it won’t work with the boost forks on my new bike. It’s a whispbar, which requires the removal of the front wheel. I’d like the same type due to the carbon frame, but wading through the various options online, it doesn’t seem obvious which ones work with boost forks. It’s also needs to be for a relatively long bike.

So, what’s everyone using?

Cheers!

My mate has got the Thule bike carrier where the front wheel comes off. It is compatible with Maxle, but not the newer Boost standard.

On a recent trip to Wales, we just put some removable cable ties around the extra axle width to stop the side to side play between the axle & the maxle mount on the carrier.

Funnily enough, I've 3D printed him some spacers to try out which he can use instead of the cable ties. If they work, I might stick a few on ebay & see if they sell. I'm popping over to his this weekend to try the spacers out.

That new 599 iirc looks good locks in the bike by the wheel itself

I've 3D printed axle spacers and axle adapters too, worked really well.

Thanks, I’ll have a peruse of the 599 and see if it’ll do the job. The whispbar uses pins that push into the maxle housings, which unfortunately aren’t long enough to safely use a spacer, I think! I may try and bodge something for the coming weekend.
