what parts inspire you to build a bike for example-Frame/forks= make a bike out of it
ive got a pair of pompino forks and now im tempted to make a full ss cxbike ive done it before starting with only the gearing...
or am i just chatting shit again?
I normaly start from some Stans Solution.
Wheels for me at the moment...bought a front wheel off the classifieds the other week (Cheers solarider) for a hack bike; it was too nice to waste so plans for a nice hardtail are being made. Got a set of 29er wheels lying about so wondered if I could use those for a town/hybrid bike. Also got a set of Flows...not used them yet so must figure out what I can do with those.
...but then maybe I'm chatting shit as well; happy to chat shit with you Taka 😉
If I've got the odd 40psi floating about, I will usually buy all the parts to go around it.
I'm intrigued by the full sus cx bike with rigid pompino forks 🙂
I buy a complete bike that I don't want, so I can split it to get the money together so I can buy the bike I really want.
