Tried a CX bike and didn't get on with it. So what do you use with flat bars etc?

How's about a Boardman Hybrid.

I've got the el cheapo Comp and it's a pretty damm good ride, comfy too and quite fast.

I did 45 miles the other weekend in just over 2.5 hours, ride positon is like a HT so great for keeping an eye out on traffic.

Scott Sub 20 (in 700c wheel size) - commute 32 miles round trip no problem - very fast rolling
