hi i have bought an old gary fisher x-caliber and it could do with a few up grades, so what?
.brown lether sadle (i have seen a few on other peoples bikes)
.high riser bars and stem
.platform pedals (not spds)
.lock on grips

To make a bike better, upgrade the wheels.
