I need to fine tune the gearing on my cx bike.

I have sram rival road leavers but I'm using a x7 rear mech.

I have no barrels anywhere on the bike to fine tune the mech.

I believe an inline adjuster will do the trick?

which one? whats a good reliable one to buy?

thanks
Craig.

These seem to do quite a nice job,

They mount at the lever, so as the cable exite the sifter these are fitted and the outer is fitted into the adjuster if that makes sense, see the pic below:

My Cannondale road bike came with Jagwire ones as standard. Look nice and neat and tidy. Not used them in anger yet.

Ritchey Barrel Adjuster

+1, one end is tapered so it wedges into the STI and the other end can be turned one handed without having to move off the sti. Before that I had some inline ones mid cable and they couldn't be tweaked unless you held one end still, which defeated the objective, may as well stop and twiddle with the mech!
