I've followed the mojo idiots guide to cleaning the dust wipers/foam seals but am having probs with re-assembly. On the talas side the crush washer was plastic one? the blow out adjustment side it was an alu one. Have I got that the right way round? the alu one doesn't seem to fit the blow out side!
Help I even got new crush washers to do it properly!

Alloy on the talas side plastic on the damping side on mine (they're in bits in the shed at the moment)
