Handed in my notice yesterday. Leaving a Sales Management role, salary, pension, life assurance, medium sized mortgage brokers.
Going to a small 10 man mortgage brokers, self employed Advisor, no benefits.
Why?
I hate being a manager and want to be in charge of my own destiny.
It was stressing me out too much.
Surprisingly, I'm not worried!
Good luck, I guess you must know what you're doing. Wouldn't have thought there was too much work?
The only person I knew in that game has bailed for a lower paid public sector job.
The market's picking up and it's not all about the mortgages nowadays.
Firms that have survived the last few years are leaner and stronger than before.
It is something I enjoy. I love selling, hate managing people.
Yawn. Should this really be in the bike forum?
Sorry buddy, didn't realise i had posted it on the bike forum. My apologies all.
