Having taken a few months off STW, I've missed the whole TJ episode (I presume there was some kind of episode) - can someone fill us in?
TJ is an absolute top bloke.
It seems that too many folk couldn't read what TJ wrote without just ignoring him when they didn't like it and the number of "[i]report to mod[/i]"s became too much for STW to bear.
Check my history scaredy, I'm hardly belligerent.
I've met TJ a few times, he's an OK bloke, just a bit serious behind a keyboard. Some here couldn't accept that. This place is worse off without him.

He often realised that he was his own worst enemy when it came to "wouldn't let it lie" and TBH many many threads went on far far too long as a result of just simple bone headed belligerence on his part in that face of weight of opinion.
I'm not saying folk didn't wind him up on purpose they almost certainly did, but his refusal to back down "EVER" was more than a little tedious sometimes.
TJ was very helpful and generous when I asked him for some bike advice. I never forgot that.
