You are better off without grips IMHO.

Yunki, nice grips, but they're not 26er compatible.

Make and model don't matter as long as they're 650b compatible.

binned lock-ons years ago when i had an off at the megavalanche practice run, bike fell perfectly and popped the lock clean off my bars, doesnt happen with non-lock ons, if it had been during the race it would have been game over
