Hi
It pains me to say it but I need camera(s) for my son (13).  Â
In the last week he has been subjected to two punishment passes by the same local business owner who actually knows us and him. Distinctive vehicle, same aged children. I'm fuming but he is not going to see reason so he needs to see the law if he does it again. Â
Helmet mounted with front and back view ideally + sound.
I'm not sure I care about cost at this point.  Â
I would report mr mc nasty to the police anyway. Such behaviour is horrible and should not put a child/ young adult in danger.
Â
Considering you want helmet mount you could consider a 360 camera e.g the Akaso 360. It'd probably end up being about 200GBP for the cam and another 20GBP for the mount. You'll also want a good micro SD card, perhaps 128GB. However, aside from monitoring this particular situation you'd hopefully be able to have some fun with it on other occasions.Â
If this offender sees the camera then they may change their behaviour - which isn't a bad outcome either.

Worth a try, especially if it's a kid.
Or stick an anonymous post on the local FB group saying you've twice noticed a distinctive local vehicle driving dangerously around kids on bikes and you'll name and shame if you see it again.
Â
Thanks all.Â
Hants 101 online service is broken at the moment but I'll have another go in the morning. Â
I'm so proud of him (my son) for being so robust about it. Â
As for our driver the c bomb was used (with his young daughter in the passenger seat). Â
Liking the 360 idea. Much fun to be had there 🙂
As for our driver I forgot to mention that the c bomb was used (with his young daughter in the passenger seat). Â
Oh, I'd not realised there was absolutely no doubt it was a punishment pass. I'd be straight to the Police and then get a camera. They'll take it seriously, especially foul language aimed at kids, and will start a report trail if anyone has any other problems, or if he's spotted being a dick behind the wheel doing anything else.
Recently got a pair of Techalogic DC-1s after Mrs Pondo was passed sufficiently closely to cause her to wobble into the kerb and fall off. Fairly straightforward to mount and set up, needs an SD card, simple to use, still working out where best to point it. Has fore- and aft cameras, records sound, 2.5 hour battery time (alledged - I recharge every other commute, so it does 2 and a a quarter to 2 and a half hours for me, havem't found the limit yet), records continuous loop in ten minute chunks. I use their recommended Viidure app to download and edit red light jumpers. She fairly regularly gets shouted at too, so looking forward to reporting they ****ers as well.Â
