I can't find this info anywhere, i don't know if i should get top pull or conventional or .............
Giant do not reply by the way before people tell me to ask them.
Ive looked on the website and there is nothing. Im wanting to buy a gear kit from Merlin but need to know what to get.

Looking at a pic of a 2010 XTC on the Giant website it looks like a top swing.Most mechs are dual pull and have multi band clamps,so aslong as you get a top swing you`ll be fine.
