as above really, looking for some grippy (obviously), quick rolling tyre that can withstand some hammer.

hoping to do a couple of races/enduros this year and im not sure which tyres to go for. first race will be at a trail centre in march.

any suggestions!?

Maxxis ardent are good, fast rolling and plenty grippy, come in big sizes too. I'm running 2.25 on my enduro and they're great, better than the kenda blue groove I replaced by a mile.

MrCrushRider - if you follow the link, these will definitely suit the type of riding you were doing last weekend. and they'll be good for wales too!
