Well, I finally managed to kill my set of M970 XTR's. 5 years including time on my DH bike, and they finally went on a lame tree stump clip & i've bent the drive side one.
So, replacement time. As much as I liked them, the mount system was a PITA (why not the same as every other HT2 crank?). Weight was good, stiffness good, looked nice etc.
The new ones are mega bucks - and look a bit wierd with a bashring (i'm 1x10).
What else is out there? I would like something nice - maybe the new RF Turbines? XT & SLX don't do it for me - anything i've missed out on? Must be normal 4 bolt 104BCD with no whacky 2x10 setups that can't use a bash, blah blah.
